Monster Hunter Wilds February Open Beta: New Monsters and Content Await!

The highly anticipated second Open Beta Test offers another opportunity to experience Monster Hunter Wilds before its official launch on February 28th. Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced the news via the official Monster Hunter YouTube channel.

The beta will run in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This time, players can tackle the Gypceros, a fan-favorite monster from previous games.

Character data from the first beta can be carried over and transferred to the full game, though progress won't be saved. Participants receive in-game rewards: a Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm, and a special bonus item pack to aid early game progression.

"We understand many missed the first beta or wanted a second chance," Tsujimoto explained. "The team is diligently working to finalize the full game." While a pre-launch community update detailed upcoming improvements, these won't be included in this beta.
