Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls

Get ready for a major update to Marvel Rivals! Launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls introduces the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman, alongside new maps, a fresh game mode, and a revamped battle pass.

A new gameplay video showcases Invisible Woman's abilities. She's a Strategist class, utilizing attacks that damage foes while simultaneously healing allies. Her kit includes a knockback, invisibility, a double jump for enhanced mobility, and a protective shield for teammates. Her ultimate ability creates a zone of invisibility, disrupting ranged enemy attacks.

The update also features Mister Fantastic, though Human Torch and The Thing will arrive later in a mid-season update approximately six to seven weeks after launch. NetEase Games has confirmed that full seasons will span roughly three months. Another recent trailer highlighted Mister Fantastic's gameplay, showcasing his stretching attacks and defensive capabilities, leading many to consider him a hybrid of Vanguard and Duelist classes.

While the Fantastic Four's arrival is highly anticipated, some players expressed disappointment over the absence of Blade in Season 1, despite leaked data suggesting his presence in the game files. With Dracula confirmed as the primary antagonist for Season 1, many hoped to see the iconic vampire hunter join the roster. However, it appears Blade's debut will have to wait. Despite this, the overall excitement for Season 1 remains high.
