Android users rejoice! Genshin Impact is finally getting controller support! The long-awaited feature arrives with Version 5.5, launching March 26th, 2025. This follows the iOS release in 2021, bringing parity to both mobile platforms.

Starting March 26th, 2025, connect your Android device to a controller and ditch the touchscreen. Version 5.5 officially supports the DualShock 4, DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 (all Bluetooth required).

Version 5.5: More Than Just Controllers

Beyond controller support, Version 5.5 boasts several quality-of-life improvements. Cross-scene quest tracking streamlines progression, letting you track quests across areas and teleport directly to your objective via the map. Updated boss guides will aid new players in understanding enemy mechanics. Optimizations are also planned for the Artifact system, Serenitea Pot, and Mail system; full details will be revealed during the Special Program Announcement on March 14th.
