This, coupled with the announcement of a new season promising "big changes, big battles, and…big Pokémon," has fueled speculation about the introduction of Dynamax and Gigantamax. The new season, starting after the Shared Skies season concludes on September 3rd, is widely predicted to center around Galar Pokémon, further supporting this theory.

While Niantic hasn't provided concrete details, the "big" and "hungry" teases strongly suggest significant gameplay alterations are on the horizon. The possibility of other Galar region Pokémon like Mimikyu and Aegislash joining the game is also a popular fan prediction.
