The initial floors are relatively straightforward, but as you progress, you'll encounter the Magical Magus, one of the toughest random enemies in this dungeon. Understanding its weaknesses and how to defeat it efficiently is crucial.

The Magical Magus is equipped with formidable skills that can be devastating if you're not prepared. Its attacks primarily revolve around fire damage, making fire-resistance accessories found in golden chests throughout Yukiko's Castle essential. These accessories not only help against the Magical Magus but are also beneficial for the final boss fight, making them highly valuable.

When you notice the Magical Magus charging up its magical power, brace for impact and guard the next turn. It often unleashes Agilao, a potent tier two fire spell that can critically damage or even knock out an unprepared party member. Additionally, Hysterical Slap can inflict significant physical damage with its double hits, though Agilao remains the primary threat. Early in the game, only the protagonist can acquire light skills, so it's advisable for Chie and Yosuke to focus on guarding rather than engaging directly in this fight.

Early-Game Persona With A Light Skill In Persona 4 Golden

The best early-game Persona equipped with a light skill is Archangel, which naturally possesses Hama. Archangel also learns Media at level 12, a crucial skill for the boss fight on the final floor. As a level 11 Persona, Archangel can be fused using:

In Persona 4 Golden, light and dark skills are insta-kill types, making Hama an extremely effective insta-kill attack that targets the enemy's weakness.
