Fuecoco Takes Center Stage in March’s First Community Day

Pokémon GO has announced that Fuecoco will be the star of the first Community Day in March, scheduled for March 8, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time. During this event, Fuecoco will appear more frequently on the map, and trainers will enjoy an increased chance of encountering its Shiny form.

Evolving Fuecoco into Skeledirge (via Crocalor) during or within a week after the event will grant it the Charged Attack Blast Burn. Skeledirge can also learn the Charged Attack Torch Song without any time restrictions.

A Special Background Timed Research will be available, rewarding trainers with a Fuecoco encounter featuring a Seasonal Special Background. Completing these tasks will further boost the Shiny rate for Fuecoco encounters, and they must be completed by March 15, 2025, at 10:00 pm local time.

For an additional $2.00, trainers can access the exclusive Community Day Special Research, which includes three Fuecoco encounters with a Seasonal Special Background, along with Battle Passes and Rare Candies. This ticket can also be purchased and gifted to friends at the Great Friends level or higher.

Upcoming Community Days Announced for March to May

Pokémon GO has also revealed the dates for Community Day events from March to May 2025, all scheduled on weekends:

• Saturday, March 22, 2025 (Community Day Classic)
• Sunday, April 27, 2025
• Sunday, May 11, 2025
• Saturday, May 24, 2025 (Community Day Classic)

Community Day Classic events will feature Pokémon from past Community Days, such as Ralts, which was originally featured in August 2019 and revisited in January 2025. New Pokémon will be introduced on the other dates, though their identities remain undisclosed.

Beloved Buddies Event Kicks Off on February 11, 2025

Choosing Between Candela and Arlo

The Beloved Buddies event, launching on February 11, 2025, introduces Dhelmise and offers Timed Research with two distinct paths: one with Candela, the Team Valor leader, and the other with Arlo, a Team GO Rocket leader.

Before choosing a path, trainers will complete initial tasks to earn Ultra Balls and encounters with Remoraid and Mantine. The Candela path focuses on enhancing your relationship with your Buddy Pokémon and offers rewards like Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.

The Arlo path, centered around catching Pokémon and battling, provides similar item rewards, including a Pocket Radar, and encounters with Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
