Xbox Game Pass is enhancing its rewards program with new Quests and updated point-earning opportunities, exclusively for players 18 and older. Starting January 7th, PC Game Pass users will gain access to these features, previously limited to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

This expansion aims to create "age-appropriate gaming experiences," restricting access to the revamped Rewards Hub and its associated benefits to those 18 and above. The changes introduce daily, weekly, and monthly quests, alongside the return of weekly streaks, providing multiple avenues for accumulating points redeemable for rewards.

Key Changes to Game Pass Quests and Rewards:

• PC Game Pass Inclusion: Quests are now available to PC Game Pass subscribers.
• New Quest Types:
  • Daily Play: Earn 10 points daily by playing any Game Pass title for at least 15 minutes.
  • Weekly Streaks: Play for at least five days a week to earn points, with multipliers increasing for consecutive weeks (2x for two weeks, 3x for three, and 4x for four or more).
  • Monthly Packs: Earn points by playing four (4-Pack) or eight (8-Pack) different games for at least 15 minutes each month (the 4-Pack games count towards the 8-Pack).
  • PC Weekly Bonus: Earn 150 points for playing at least 15 minutes for five or more days a week.
• Age Restriction: Access to the Rewards Hub and all new quest features is restricted to users 18 years and older. Younger players can only earn rewards through parental purchases from the Microsoft Store.

The updated system simplifies point earning with consistent daily, weekly, and monthly opportunities. Maintaining weekly streaks significantly boosts point accumulation. Exploring diverse games within the Game Pass catalog also provides rewards. Microsoft emphasizes its commitment to age-appropriate content with this change.
