Nintendo has unveiled its newest partnership with LEGO: a meticulously crafted LEGO Game Boy! Launching in October 2025, this follows the successful LEGO NES release.

While exciting news for both LEGO and Nintendo enthusiasts, the Twitter (X) announcement sparked a flurry of questions regarding the anticipated Nintendo Switch 2. One user humorously expressed gratitude, stating, "Thanks for finally revealing the new console," while another commented, "At this rate, a LEGO Switch 2 will be out before the actual system reveal."

Although Nintendo remains tight-lipped about the Switch 2, President Furukawa confirmed on May 7, 2024, that an announcement concerning the Switch successor would be made within the current fiscal year, ending in March. Fans will need to exercise a bit more patience.

Pricing details for the LEGO Game Boy remain undisclosed, but further information is expected in the coming weeks or months.

Two months later, a new Super Mario set showcasing Mario and Yoshi from Super Mario World was released. This unique set depicts the in-game sprites, with a rotating crank to animate Yoshi's leg movement. It's available for $129.99 USD.
