Reaching Bloodmoon Island in Divinity: Original Sin 2

Bloodmoon Island, shrouded in Deathfog and with its connecting bridge destroyed, presents a challenge in Divinity: Original Sin 2. This guide outlines multiple methods to overcome this obstacle and access the island's quests and storyline advancements.

Method 1: The Spirit Bridge

The remnants of the bridge northeast of Cloisterwood, near Jahan and Witch Alice, are visible using Spirit Vision. Crossing requires overcoming broken sections. Several options exist:

1. Gloves of Teleportation: These allow repeated teleporting of party members across the gaps.

2. Translocation Skills: Skills like Phoenix Dive, Cloak and Dagger, or Tactical Retreat enable individual character traversal. This is limited by party skillsets.

3. Teleporter Pyramids: Using two pyramids, one companion crosses using translocation, then the rest teleport to their location.

4. Fast Travel: A companion with translocation reaches the island waypoint, enabling the rest of the party to fast travel.

Method 2: The Undead Ferry

An undead ferryman northwest of Cloisterwood offers passage. However, this is a trap: only undead characters (like Fane) survive the Deathfog crossing.

• With Fane: Fane alone takes the ferry, discovers the waypoint, and allows the rest to fast travel.

• Without Fane: This requires at least two Teleporter Pyramids. A companion takes the ferry, dies on the island, and is revived using the second pyramid and resurrection magic. This method is less efficient than using the bridge.

Note: Avoid attacking the ferryman unless prepared for his Deathfog retaliation. Defeating him yields a Soothing Cold skillbook, a belt, and 3,750 XP. A quick save is recommended before attacking.

For parties without Fane, the bridge method is generally faster and safer.
