Mortal Kombat 1 Welcomes Madam Bo

New Kameo Fighter

Mortal Kombat 1 has just launched the official trailer for its newest Kameo fighter, none other than Fengjian Teahouse's owner, Madam Bo. She, along with the villainous guest character T-1000 from the Terminator 2 film, will arrive on March 18th, 2025, as part of Kombat Pack 2 and the Khaos Reigns expansion.

Before her debut as an assist character, Madam Bo featured in Mortal Kombat 1's story mode, where she was beaten by Lin Kuei assassin Smoke as punishment for not paying protection money. However, this was revealed to be a ruse to prepare Raiden and Kung Lao for the tournament. Don't let her appearance deceive you; Madam Bo is a formidable opponent. As a former associate of the Lin Kuei faction and a skilled martial artist, she has mentored champions like Raiden and Kung Lao.

The gameplay footage showcases Madam Bo fighting alongside her pupils, delivering powerful kicks and punches, smashing glass bottles, and executing a unique finishing fatality that kicks the opponent's head off their shoulders and catches it on a tea tray.

T-1000 Makes Its Guest Debut

Alongside Madam Bo's addition on March 18th, the cold and cunning shapeshifting antagonist from Terminator 2: Judgement Day, T-1000, will also join Mortal Kombat 1. This advanced cybernetic killing machine, made of liquid metal, will debut in the franchise as a playable character, utilizing its shapeshifting powers to attack opponents with a sharp sword or a fully-armed machine gun.

Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Expansion

Madam Bo and T-1000's introductions are part of the new Mortal Kombat 1 expansion and DLC, Khaos Reigns. This expansion introduces a new story campaign that extends Liu Kang's New Era plot, alongside an all-new cinematic experience. Players will explore how Liu Kang rallies his champions against the ruthless Titan Havik, who threatens the world and the New Era as they know it.

The additional Kameo fighter pack, Kombat Pack 2, features several new characters, including both new additions and returning favorites from previous titles. The Kombat Pack 2 DLC's releases started with the return of Sektor, Noob Saibot, and Cyrax in September 2024, followed by slasher film Scream's Ghostface in November and Conan the Barbarian in January 2025. Madam Bo and Terminator 2's T-1000 will be added to the roster later this month.
