《最终幻想XVI》将于9月17日登陆PC
史克威尔艾尼克斯已确认，广受好评的《最终幻想XVI》将于今年9月17日登陆PC平台。这一消息也为该系列在PC平台的未来发展带来了乐观的前景，因为总监暗示了未来作品可能同时在多个平台发布。《最终幻想XVI》的PC版售价为49.99美元，完整版售价为69.99美元。完整版包含游戏的两个故事扩展包：《陨落的回声》和《涨潮》。为了满足玩家在游戏发布前的期待，现已推出可玩演示版。该演示版提供游戏序章和一个专注于战斗的“艾科尼克挑战”模式。演示版中的进度可以延续到完整游戏中。
除此之外，FFXVI总监高井宏司在接受Rock Paper Shotgun采访时表示，对于游戏的PC版本，“我们将帧率上限提高到了240fps，您可以选择各种升级技术，例如NVIDIA DLSS3、AMD FSR和Intel XeSS。”
