ゴシック1リメイクデモ「Nyras Progue」のリリースを祝うために、Thq NordicとAlkimia Interactiveが新しい予告編を発表しました。プレイヤーが無名のヒーローを体現するオリジナルのゴシック様式とは異なり、このデモは、囚人であるニラスの目を通してホリーニスの厳しい世界を体験できます。主人公の変化にもかかわらず、核となる目的は残りです：生存。
Steam Next Fest中にリリースされたGothic Remake Demoは、シリーズ全体の同時プレイヤーレコードをすでに粉砕しています。
