Rowley explained how this influence shaped Quantum Break and, significantly, Alan Wake 2. The game's cinematic style, stunning visuals, and gripping narrative clearly reflect this inspiration, solidifying Remedy's place among Europe's top studios.

Remedy's sights are set beyond the horror genre. Naughty Dog's mastery of single-player cinematic experiences, particularly with Uncharted and the critically acclaimed The Last of Us (one of history's most awarded franchises), serves as a benchmark.

Alan Wake 2, released over a year ago, continues to receive updates. A recent update focuses on performance enhancements, notably optimizing the game for the PS5 Pro. A new "Balanced" graphics option combines the strengths of the PS5 Pro Performance and Quality modes.

These improvements, along with minor graphical tweaks for smoother framerates and clearer visuals, also address minor gameplay bugs, particularly within the Lake House expansion.
