PlayStation Plus Games for April 2025 Revealed
Sony has announced its April 2025 PlayStation Plus Essential lineup, featuring RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5), The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PS4, PS5), and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory (PS4).
The gaming giant detailed next month's additions in a PlayStation.Blog post today. These titles join the catalog available to subscribers of the entry-level PlayStation Plus tier at no extra charge and will remain accessible until the next batch of games arrives on May 5. All games listed today become available starting April 1.
PlayStation Plus subscribers will find that the April 2025 lineup offers something for every type of gamer. Teyon and Nacon’s brutally faithful homage to the '80s, RoboCop: Rogue City, stands out as this month's highlight. This first-person shooter places you in the armored boots of Alex Murphy as he battles to protect a crime-infested Detroit from a new lethal menace.
One of its most significant recent updates launched in January of last year, introducing a highly requested New Game Plus mode. Whether you're revisiting the story or playing for the first time, we found RoboCop: Rogue City compelling enough to merit a 7/10 score in our review.
For those seeking gruesome cooperative thrills, Sumo Digital and Gun Media’s asymmetrical multiplayer horror, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, delivers intense cat-and-mouse gameplay. You'll either fight to survive or take on the role of the murderous Slaughter Family, hunting down terrified victims.
This isn't a game for the squeamish—it vividly captures the terror of hearing Leatherfire's chainsaw roar just steps behind you. At launch, we rated it 6/10, calling it “a few entertaining, though technically flawed, hours of fun.”
If RoboCop and Leatherface get your adrenaline pumping, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory offers a more relaxed pace. Bandai Namco deepened the digital monster universe with this turn-based RPG spinoff in 2018, featuring over 320 Digimon to discover and collect while revisiting the original Cyber Sleuth narrative from a fresh angle.
As RoboCop, Leatherface, and Agumon prepare to land on PlayStation next week, don’t forget to claim the March 2025 titles before they’re gone. That standout selection included Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection. Whether you're a current subscriber or considering joining, be sure to add all three to your library before March 31.
