Artifact Detectors in Stalker 2

• Echo Detector – Standard Artifact Detector

The Echo Detector is your starting artifact detector. This small, yellow device features a central light tube that pulses when an artifact is nearby. The pulse rate increases as you approach the artifact, providing a basic, albeit less precise, indication of its location.

• Bear Detector – An Echo Detector Upgrade

Obtained either during the "A Sign of Hope" side mission or from vendors, the Bear Detector improves upon the Echo Detector. It uses concentric rings around its display; the more rings illuminated, the closer you are to the artifact. Full illumination signifies you've reached the artifact's spawn point.

• Hilka Detector – Precise Artifact Location

Acquired during the "Mysterious Case" side mission from Sultan, the Hilka Detector offers a more precise approach. It displays numerical values that change based on proximity to the artifact. Decreasing numbers indicate you're getting closer.

• Veles Detector – The Best Artifact Detector

The Veles Detector, earned by completing the "In Search of Past Glory" main mission, is the most advanced detector. Its radar display pinpoints the artifact's location within the anomalous field and also highlights dangerous nearby anomalies.
