The Dark Knight's reign in the video game world was once a near-constant stream of new releases. Rocksteady's Batman Arkham series, in particular, redefined superhero gaming, leaving a lasting impact. Yet, recent years have seen a noticeable decline in dedicated Batman titles. The last major standalone game, The Enemy Within, arrived in 2017, and there's currently no indication of a new entry on the horizon. While the future holds exciting superhero game releases, fans yearning to don the cowl will find the best experiences by revisiting the past.
