The Shanxi Department of Culture and Tourism has capitalized on this surge in popularity, launching a campaign highlighting the real-life locations that inspired the game's breathtaking visuals. A special event, "Follow Wukong’s Footsteps and Tour Shanxi," is planned.

"We've received numerous requests for customized travel itineraries and detailed guides," stated the Shanxi Department of Culture and Tourism, as reported by the Global Times. "We're diligently addressing these requests."

The game's developers, Game Science, have masterfully recreated Shanxi's cultural essence. From magnificent pagodas and ancient temples to landscapes evocative of traditional Chinese art, Black Myth: Wukong transports players to a world of emperors and mythical beings.

Beyond Little Western Paradise, the game also features virtual recreations of the South Chan Temple, Iron Buddha Temple, Guangsheng Temple, Stork Tower, and other significant cultural sites.
