This elusive achievement is deceptively simple. The "I Caught a Shooting Star" trophy/achievement requires capturing the Sandstar, a tiny, glimmering desert mouse-like endemic life found only in the Windward Plains. The crucial detail? **You can only find it at night.**

Since the Windward Plains are often explored during the day, you'll need to manipulate the time of day. There are two ways to do this:

• Fast Travel: Once you've unlocked multiple fast travel points in the Windward Plains, quickly travel between them repeatedly. This will advance the in-game time until nightfall.
• Rest: After completing Chapter 3 and unlocking high-rank content, use your Guild Points to rest at a camp. Select "Nighttime" to instantly set the time.

The Sandstar is tiny and fast, even for your speedy Seikret. To make capturing it easier, consider gathering Screamer Pods beforehand. These can be obtained from Baunos, small winged monsters found in groups around Areas 11 and 13 of the Windward Plains. They often scavenge near carcasses, making them easy targets.

Once it's night, head to the midpoint between Areas 11 and 13. Keep a close eye out for the Sandstar. When spotted, chase it at full speed. If you have Screamer Pods, use one to stun the Sandstar. Immediately switch to your Capture Net (the same net used for fishing) and capture it.
