Is There Still a Chance for The Last of Us 3?
Fans of *The Last of Us* series were still reeling from Neil Druckmann's recent comment suggesting that a new game might not be on the horizon when a ray of hope emerged. Insider Daniel Richtman has stirred excitement by claiming that a new installment is already in the works, with actors cast and some scenes filmed.

Given the ambiguity of Druckmann's earlier statement, these rumors could indeed carry some weight. When Druckmann mentioned there being "no next The Last of Us," he might have been alluding to a sequel already in development. It's worth noting that he has made similar comments before the announcement of *Part II*. However, it's important to approach Richtman's claims with caution, as he has a history of inaccurate leaks.
Nevertheless, it's confirmed that at least a concept for a new installment exists. As for an official announcement or any further news, Naughty Dog might be holding off to keep the focus on their upcoming new IP, *Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet*.
