The second installment of the latest Wonder Pick event in Pokémon TCG Pocket is now in full swing, bringing with it a wave of new content and exciting opportunities for players. Running through until February 21st, this event introduces an array of new Chimchar-themed accessories and a Poke Ball avatar icon, along with missions that allow you to collect these fresh additions to your collection.

If you've taken part in the first part of the event, you'll know that it's a treat for Chimchar enthusiasts. While Chimchar might not make it into my top 100 favorite Pokémon, the event offers a range of appealing items for fans of the fiery monkey. You can now get your hands on a Chimchar-themed Pokémon coin, card sleeve, and playmat, showcasing its evolutions, Monferno and Infernape.

Not a fan of flaming monkeys? The Poke Ball icon might catch your eye instead. While it might seem a bit plain to some, it's a staple in every deck and could be a fitting choice for your avatar. Personally, I'm sticking with my knitted Electrode avatar for now, waiting for something more exciting to come along.

It's Monkey Business in Pokémon TCG Pocket

The missions during this event are straightforward and achievable. To complete them, you'll need to perform six Wonder Picks and collect 10 Fire and Psychic-Type Pokémon. Each Wonder Pick rewards you with 100 Trade Tokens, while the other missions grant you varying amounts of Event Shop Tickets. With determination and enough Wonder Hourglasses, you can quickly secure these rewards.

If you're late to the event, don't worry—all the goodies from the first part are still available until February 21st. These include a Chimchar backdrop and cover, as well as a Cave of Crystals backdrop. Additionally, you can still snag the promo cards featuring Chimchar and the adorable Togepi.
