Sandfall Interactive recently addressed concerns via their official Expedition 33 Twitter account, cautioning fans about dubious websites selling unauthorized Esquie plushies.

"We want to clarify: any third-party sites offering Esquie merchandise aren't officially licensed," the developer stated. "Most use AI-generated images for promotion, and we advise against purchases from these sources as they may be fraudulent."

Balancing disappointment with optimism, Sandfall confirmed official Esquie plushies are under consideration, aiming for release as quickly as possible. "Please stay patient – and stay safe from scams!" their announcement concluded.
