Butterscotch Shenanigans has rolled out a substantial update for Crashlands 2 today with version 1.1, delivering fan-requested features from the original game along with fresh challenges.

What's New in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?

The update introduces Legend Mode, offering tougher gameplay than Challenge Mode. Woanope's enemies now move faster, deal more damage, and boast enhanced health pools, while protagonist Flux Dabes becomes even more vulnerable.

While no special achievements exist for conquering this brutal mode, completing it automatically unlocks all lower-difficulty achievements.

For more relaxed players, Explorer Mode provides a peaceful alternative. This setting minimizes combat threats, letting players focus on farming, home decoration, fishing, and enjoying the game's quirky characters without constant danger.

The most notable addition is the return of The Compendium. Addressing player requests, this feature meticulously tracks Flux's discoveries, including undiscovered pets, recipes, and collectible items needed for completion.

Enhanced Pet System

Update 1.1 significantly upgrades pets, making them active combat participants. Each companion now possesses a unique ability with a 20-second cooldown period.

Gear crafting receives expanded options, with randomly generated bonus stats appearing on crafted armor. Players can also enjoy new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets across Woanope.

Numerous quality-of-life improvements appear throughout the update, including expanded terrain building options, customizable home teleporter placement, and adjustable nighttime darkness levels.
