Deltarune Switch 2 Exclusive Feature Revealed in Secret "SPECIAL ROOM"

Deltarune Switch 2 Features
Deltarune's Switch 2 version was unveiled during the latest Nintendo Direct on April 2, promising an exciting release. This version will include chapters 3 and 4, along with unique features designed specifically for the next-generation console.
Toby Fox, the creator of Deltarune, shared through a Fangamer newsletter that the Switch 2 version will feature a special room utilizing the innovative mouse functionality of the new Joy-Cons. Fox enthusiastically noted, "So, we made a very small SPECIAL ROOM which takes advantage of using MOUSE CONTROLS ON TWO CONTROLLERS AT ONCE, only possible on the Nintendo Switch 2!!"
For players using older devices, this special room remains accessible, though with an alternative control scheme. Moreover, fans can seamlessly transfer their save files from the Nintendo Switch demo of Deltarune 1 and 2 to this new version.
Deltarune Future Chapters Will Be Free
In the same newsletter, Fox revealed that Deltarune will be priced at $24.99, encompassing Chapters 1 through 4. Initially, Chapter 1 was released in 2018, followed by Chapter 2 in 2021, both available for free. It was previously announced that Chapters 3-5 would require payment.
However, Fox has now confirmed that all future chapters will be added as free updates. This means a one-time purchase of the game grants access to all subsequent chapters at no additional cost. Fox expressed his optimism, saying, "But, it's my hope that as we complete more Chapters, you'll feel like this game was a super super super super good deal."
The game's soundtrack will also be available on Steam for $14.99, featuring over 150 songs from Chapters 3 and 4, with future chapter songs added for free. Deltarune aims to provide exceptional value by offering future content without additional charges.
DELTARUNE Chapters 1-4 are slated for release on June 5, 2025, coinciding with the launch of Switch 2. The game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Stay tuned for more updates on this eagerly anticipated release!
