Remedy Entertainment's annual report reveals significant progress on several key projects. Control 2 has cleared the concept validation phase and entered full production, a major step forward for the highly anticipated sequel.

Alongside Control 2, two other titles are actively under development: FBC: Firebreak and the remakes of Max Payne 1+2. These projects, previously in the pre-production phase, have now advanced to full development. However, the studio has confirmed the cancellation of Kestrel, a collaborative project with Tencent, which was terminated in May of the previous year.

All current projects leverage Remedy's proprietary Northlight engine, previously showcased in Alan Wake 2 and other successful titles.

Budgetary details have been released for some projects. Control 2, with a €50 million budget, will be self-published by Remedy and launched on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. FBC: Firebreak, boasting a €30 million budget, will be available on PlayStation and Xbox subscription services at launch, alongside Steam and the Epic Games Store. While the budget for the Max Payne 1+2 remakes remains undisclosed, they are confirmed as AAA-level productions with full development and marketing funding provided by Rockstar Games.
