Netflix has recently unveiled the premiere date for the anime adaptation of *Devil May Cry* and released the opening trailer, set to the iconic track "Rollin'" by nu-metal legends Limp Bizkit. The trailer showcases dynamic scenes featuring young Dante, Lady, and White Rabbit, filled with nods to the beloved video game series.

Showrunner Adi Shankar shared his vision for the anime's future, emphasizing that the series is set in the late 90s to early 2000s. He believes the soundtrack perfectly captures the spirit of that era. Alongside Limp Bizkit, fans can expect other iconic tracks from the time, as well as a reimagined game soundtrack by the synthwave duo Power Glove.

Shankar also hinted at future seasons, noting that they will feature different visual styles and soundtracks to reflect the diversity of the *Devil May Cry* games. This suggests that the series is planned to extend beyond a single season.

While plot details remain under wraps, the first season is expected to draw from the manga *Code 1: Dante* (based on *Devil May Cry 3*), where a young demon hunter investigates a child's disappearance. This investigation will lead Dante to confront his past, his family, and the legacy of his demon father, Sparda.

The first season will comprise 8 episodes and is scheduled to premiere on April 3, 2025. Fans of the *Devil May Cry* series have much to look forward to with this exciting new anime adaptation.
