This leak was first spotted by Gematsu, who shared store links enabling interested players to pre-order the game for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Although the GameStop pages lack any images or gameplay details for this unannounced title, fans may not have to wait long for an official reveal.

The timing of this leak is particularly noteworthy as it comes just hours before Sony's latest State of Play presentation. While the content of the show remains under wraps, Sony has confirmed it will feature 40 minutes of content, leaving ample room for new game announcements. Given the recent appearance of pre-order listings for Digimon Story: Time Stranger, it wouldn't be surprising if the digital monster series makes an appearance during the event.

The Digimon Story series has a rich history that dates back to the mid-2000s, starting with the original Digimon Story for the Nintendo DS.
