Exclusively tailored for Android devices, the mobile edition aims to introduce the game to a broader audience while offering a convenient, on-the-go experience for existing fans. To facilitate this, ZA/UM will release the first two chapters of *Disco Elysium* for free, allowing players to dive into the game without any upfront cost. After trying the initial chapters, players can opt to pay a one-time fee to unlock the full game, which will be ad-free, ensuring a seamless and uninterrupted experience.

ZA/UM emphasized their commitment to transparency and player satisfaction, stating, "We want players to make an informed decision about their potential purchase." The studio, now a blend of creators and custodians of the *Disco Elysium* IP, is dedicated to preserving the game's integrity and enhancing its mobile adaptation.

Studio head Denis Havel highlighted the intention to attract the TikTok audience with *Disco Elysium* on mobile, aiming to "captivate the TikTok user with quick hits of compelling story, art, and audio, ultimately creating an all new, deeply engaging form of entertainment."

Accompanying the announcement is a debut trailer and a series of screenshots showcasing the mobile version. The game features new 360-degree scenes designed to immerse mobile users directly into the world of Revachol. Additionally, the mobile adaptation includes brand-new audio with full voiceover to enhance the character-driven narrative experience.

The official description of the mobile version reads:

This is a total re-imagination of the award-winning, gripping psychological RPG Disco Elysium and designed to completely cater to the habits of today’s mobile users. This story-rich adventure has been optimized for short play sessions, allowing players to dive in anytime, anyplace on their mobile devices.

Narrative Lead Chris Priestman described the mobile version as "what audiobooks wish they were," designed to be enjoyed in short bursts, fitting perfectly into the busy lifestyles of modern gamers.

*Disco Elysium* is set to launch on mobile via Google Android in the summer of 2025. It's important to note that while the studio name remains the same, many of the key developers who originally worked on *Disco Elysium* have since left ZA/UM. Some of these former members are now involved in creating spiritual successors to the game.
