Tom Clancy's The Division 2 has officially launched its third season of year six, dubbed "Burden of Truth." This new season beckons agents to immerse themselves further into the gripping narrative, embarking on a quest to locate Kelso across Washington, D.C., guided by her enigmatic clues. As players progress, they'll unravel more about Lau's recruitment strategy and delve into the mysterious "Cassandra" mission, adding depth to the storyline.

A highlight of this season is the introduction of the innovative Rogue Momentum system, which revolutionizes combat dynamics by incentivizing aggressive playstyles. Players accumulate momentum by defeating foes and executing combat tasks, with standard kills providing a modest increase. However, the meter escalates rapidly with critical hits, skill combos, multi-kills, and the elimination of elite enemies. As momentum builds, players benefit from enhanced abilities such as accelerated movement, reduced reload times, amplified damage, and heightened firing rates. At its zenith, the Overcharge feature activates, significantly reducing ability cooldowns for a powerful edge in battle.

Alongside the revamped combat mechanics, "Burden of Truth" brings a fresh arsenal of weaponry and gear to the game. Those with the Warlords of New York DLC and Year 1 Pass gain access to an expanded inventory, boasting an additional 50 slots. Standout additions include the exotic SMG Oxpecker and the tactical Exodus gloves. Furthermore, two new brands, Refactor and Shiny Monkey, introduce innovative gear options, while named weapons like the Rusty Classic RPK-74 and Goalie FAL come with unique talents, enabling players to fine-tune their builds.
