EA's highly anticipated free-to-play skateboarding simulation game, skate. (stylized as skate.), is now accepting console playtesters! Learn how to participate below.

Console Playtesting is Underway – Register for Beta Access and Exclusive Rewards!

Following its June 2020 announcement and subsequent teasers, skate. is finally open for playtesting on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. While a PC beta launch date remains unconfirmed, players can register as an Insider to receive updates.

According to the game's official X (formerly Twitter) account, console playtesting has been ongoing since at least December, possibly even September, as evidenced by a recent highlight reel. However, developer Full Circle actively encourages further registrations as development continues.

To participate in the beta, visit EA's official website and navigate to the skate. page to register for the Skate Insider Playtesting program. In addition to early game access, testers (Insiders) will receive exclusive in-game rewards, including a unique skateboard and stickers, upon the Early Access release.

skate. is slated for Early Access launch sometime in 2025. This marks the franchise's return after nearly a decade since Skate 3, and will be available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. Set in the fictional city of San Vansterdam, the game is designed as a free-to-play, live-service title promising an "authentic evolution" of the nearly 20-year-old series, as detailed in a previous Full Circle YouTube interview.
