Spider-Woman’s Origin Story in Marvel Contest of Champions

Jessica Drew, known as Spider-Woman, faced a life-altering illness in her childhood due to uranium exposure near her home. Her father, a brilliant geneticist, saved her by infusing her with spider DNA in a daring experiment.

After a long recovery, Jessica overcame the experiment’s side effects, gaining extraordinary spider-like abilities and embracing her role as Spider-Woman. Players can unlock this champion in MCOC starting April 17th.

Before Spider-Woman’s arrival, Lumatrix enters the game on April 9th. This lethal assassin, crafted by the Founders, wields dazzling light-based powers to infiltrate and eliminate targets with precision.

What’s New in the Update?

In the storyline, Act 9 Chapter 2, titled Inquisition, Carina suffers severe injuries after clashing with Ouroborus forces, while Doctor Doom allies with the Fantastic Four. The Chronoserpent’s corruption spreads rapidly, introducing a new villain, Lotan.

A fresh Event Quest, Spy Games, launches on April 9th and runs through May 7th. Black Widow teams up with Spider-Woman to investigate the enigmatic Eidols, unraveling their secrets.

Dark Phoenix returns in the Side Quest with Dark Bounties, tasking players with hunting down targeted Champions to claim rewards.

The Incursions: Dark Phoenix Saga Sector also makes a comeback. Assemble your most powerful Saga champions to battle for Dark Plumes, Light Essence, Tier 7 Basic Fragments, and 7-Star Class Signature Stones.
