When a Gaming Legends skin graces Fortnite, its availability can be unpredictable. Some skins, like Kratos, vanish for years, while others, such as Master Chief, make a triumphant return. The iconic protagonist from the Halo series, Master Chief, had been absent from the Item Shop for nearly 1,000 days since his last appearance on June 3, 2022. However, fans were treated to a Christmas miracle on December 23, 2024, when he made a comeback.
Now, players can suit up in their Spartan armor and leap from the Battle Bus as Petty Officer John-117 to secure a Victory Royale with Xbox's legendary mascot. But what exactly does the Master Chief Bundle in Fortnite include, and how many V-Bucks will it set you back?
How to Get Master Chief in Fortnite
1,500 V-Bucks

As of December 23, at 7 PM ET, players can navigate to the Fortnite Item Shop to find and purchase Master Chief in his dedicated tab. For 1,500 V-Bucks, you'll get the iconic character sporting his Halo Infinite armor, along with the Battle Legend Back Bling at no extra cost. Although Master Chief doesn't come with a LEGO Style, fans can explore a range of other Halo-themed items either through the Master Chief Bundle or as individual purchases:

How to Get the Matte Black Master Chief in Fortnite
Epic Games has confirmed via X (formerly Twitter) on the Fortnite Status account that players can still unlock the Matte Black style for the Master Chief outfit. To do so, simply purchase the Master Chief outfit and then play one match of Fortnite Battle Royale on an Xbox Series X|S. This will grant you the unlockable style.
It was previously announced that the Matte Black style would no longer be available for players who bought the skin after December 2024, but that decision has been reversed. So, if you're eager to add this exclusive style to your collection, now's your chance.
