⚫︎ Developer Bad Guitar Studio has confirmed that FragPunk will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on April 29. The free-to-play 5v5 hero shooter originally debuted for PC via Steam on March 6. While the console versions were initially planned for a simultaneous release, they were postponed to allow for final optimizations. This new release is also anticipated to feature cross-play support across all supported platforms.

March 18
⚫︎ FragPunk deployed a new balance update on March 18 without any server maintenance. Major adjustments include a general increase in movement speed and refined footstep audio. The patch also rebalances several weapons and Lancer abilities, removes the "Hide your name" option to enhance anti-cheat security, and fixes various gameplay and user interface issues.

⚫︎ FragPunk's developer, Bad Guitar, has delayed the console release, citing unforeseen technical hurdles during optimization and adaptation. These challenges emerged during the final compliance checks for the Xbox and PlayStation versions. The delay allows the team to deliver a consistent, high-quality experience for all players, regardless of platform.
As a thank you for their patience, all console players will receive engagement-based rewards upon the game's launch. These will include in-game currency, cosmetic items, and experience boosters. More specific information will be announced in a future update.
