Freedom Wars Remastered: Mastering the Cell Garden

Quick Links
In Freedom Wars Remastered, the Cell Garden is an essential area within the Panopticon that you'll encounter early in the main story. Once discovered, it becomes a valuable resource farming spot, offering a safer alternative to the dangers of regular operations. Throughout the game, you'll come across multiple Cell Gardens, but the method to find each one remains consistent across different levels. Below, we'll guide you on locating any Cell Garden and explain their mechanics for resource gathering.
Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances In Freedom Wars Remastered
Your journey to the Cell Garden begins with a task from Mattias, who wants you to investigate a ghost girl story. To reach the Cell Garden, navigate to the main cell block of Level 2: 2-A000. From your cell, look towards the left corner of the block to find a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with this room to be transported to 2-E165, the same location where you encountered Enzo.
Upon arriving at 2-E165, proceed along the right wall to another small room equipped with a device that will transport you to 2-G100. From 2-G100, you'll use the device in the far room to finally reach the Cell Garden.
This path to the Cell Garden is uniform across all levels. To streamline your travels, consider unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement, which significantly reduces the time spent navigating to the Cell Garden. After completing the main quest associated with the Cell Garden, you'll have the freedom to visit it or any other Cell Garden at your convenience. However, acquiring a specific Entitlement beforehand can enhance your experience.
Each device leading to the next room or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon, making them easy to spot.
How Does The Cell Garden Work In Freedom Wars Remastered
The Cell Garden's mechanics differ slightly between the main story mission and regular visits. Here's how it functions outside of the main quest:
- You're allotted one minute before being automatically ejected.
- The room's layout changes with each visit, keeping the experience fresh.
- Eight resources, represented by small green orbs, are scattered across the room for you to collect.
To extend your time in the Cell Garden, you can purchase Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. These upgrades are crucial, especially when dealing with layouts that include more complex puzzles. The first upgrade, available at CODE level 3, extends your stay to two minutes, allowing more time to gather resources efficiently.
