Kingsley is currently focused on envisioning how to elevate the series to new heights, reflecting his passion for the game.

Kingsley highlighted that the theme of world domination, central to the Evil Genius series, could be explored beyond the traditional base-building simulator genre. The team is actively brainstorming and considering various strategic formats to expand the franchise's reach and appeal. Although specific projects remain in the conceptual stage, the enthusiasm for developing fresh ideas is palpable within the development team.

Evil Genius 2, released in 2021, garnered "mostly positive" reviews from critics on Metacritic. Despite the enhanced graphics and efforts to address previous shortcomings, the game faced significant criticism from the player community upon its release. Many fans felt that the sequel did not live up to the standards set by its predecessor.
