People Can Fly, the acclaimed developer behind Bulletstorm and a co-developer of Gears of War: E-Day, has entered into an exciting new agreement with Sony Interactive Entertainment. This collaboration is set to bring us Project Delta, a highly anticipated game crafted as a work-for-hire. While specific details about Project Delta remain under wraps, the partnership signals a thrilling addition to People Can Fly's diverse portfolio.

Currently, People Can Fly is juggling an impressive array of projects, each with its own unique codename. Alongside Project Delta, they are also working on Project Gemini in partnership with Square Enix, which faced a setback with 30 developers being laid off last year. Another project, Project Echo, is in development with Krafton, and Project Red is also believed to be connected to Sony. The studio recently announced that Project Bison, a VR endeavor, would mark their final venture into virtual reality.

In recent developments, People Can Fly made the tough decision to suspend work on Project Victoria last December and scaled down efforts on Project Bifrost. Earlier in April, they cancelled Project Dagger, which was poised to be an action-adventure title developed in collaboration with Take-Two Interactive.

Despite these adjustments, People Can Fly remains busy with a total of eight projects currently in the works. Among these is the eagerly awaited Gears of War: E-Day, developed in partnership with The Coalition, though a release date has yet to be announced. Meanwhile, Project Gemini, their collaboration with Square Enix, is slated for a 2026 release, adding to the anticipation surrounding People Can Fly's future offerings.
