Say farewell to Trinkets; they're stepping aside to make room for the innovative Battlegrounds Tokens. These tokens can be your game-changer at the hero selection screen, allowing you to reroll one of your hero options if you're not thrilled with your initial choices. Just use a token, and you might find a hero that better suits your strategy.

Before diving deeper into what Season 9 has to offer, let's look at the reveal and launch schedule. Today marks the reveal of Naga and Dragon minions, followed by Quilboar and Beast on November 21st. Pirate and Duos-only reveals are set for November 22nd, with Murloc and Demon reveals on November 25th. Elemental and Undead minions will be showcased on November 26th. What Else Is New?

The minion pool is seeing a massive shakeup, with nearly 90 minions and Tavern spells either joining or leaving the fray. Solo Battlegrounds players, take note: the damage cap is being adjusted. Early-game damage will be limited to 5, increasing to 10 on turn 4 and 15 on turn 8. Once you reach the top 4, the cap is removed, allowing for more intense battles.

Mark your calendars: the patch goes live on December 3rd, introducing Beasts, Dragons, Quilboar, Pirates, Naga, and Mechs. Murlocs and Demons join the party on December 5th, with Undead and Elementals rounding out the additions on December 9th.
