While some doubt Games Workshop's willingness for such a partnership, Arrowhead Studios head Shams Jorjani stated, "I can say that GW would love a crossover, we're big fans of [Warhammer] 40k ourselves."

Helldivers 2's premium content now focuses on carefully chosen collaborations, exemplified by the Killzone 2 partnership. The developers emphasized that these crossovers will be infrequent, only occurring when they organically enhance the game's existing world.

The Killzone collaboration also includes a community challenge tied to Galactic War, offering players the chance to earn additional Killzone-themed rewards based on overall community performance.
