华纳兄弟探索公司证实，他们计划推出热门动作角色扮演游戏《霍格沃茨之遗》的续作——这款基于哈利波特的2023年最畅销游戏自发行以来已售出超过2400万份。据《综艺》报道，华纳兄弟探索公司首席财务官Gunnar Wiedenfels在2024年美国银行媒体、通讯和娱乐大会上表示，该公司打算开发续作。
Wiedenfels表示：“显然，霍格沃茨之遗的续作是未来几年最重要的项目之一。因此，在我们目前的战略展望中，游戏业务肯定会有显著的增长贡献。”
