HoYoVerse is making a splash with back-to-back announcements! Following the sneak peek at Honkai: Star Rail version 2.6, details for Honkai Impact 3rd version 7.8, titled "Planetary Rewind," have been revealed. Launching October 17th, this update boasts new battlesuits, events, and a plethora of rewards.

A standout addition is Vita's new battlesuit, Lone Planetfarer, a MECH-type Lightning DMG dealer. Sporting a striking peacock feather-adorned Drive Core, Lone Planetfarer shifts between two forms: Lone Traveler, utilizing elegant feathered loop strikes, and Planet Quaker, unleashing powerful laser beams. This transformation is complemented by the Astral Ring Specialization: Rite of Oblivion. The Divine Key Waxing Moon and its PRI-ARM variant, Divine Key Waxing Moon: Incipience, are also making their debut.

Version 7.8's main storyline, "The First and Last War," transports players back a century to Langqiu during the Ten Shus War, featuring Vita, Dreamseeker, Helia, and Coralie. Players can earn various rewards, including Crystals, Source Prisms, Seele's event stigma, and Dreamweaver's new outfit. The HOHO Vacation Tickets return, and Elysian Realm now permanently offers LITE Combat. A celebratory event from October 11th offers free Equipment Supply Cards and Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupons.
