Honkai Impact 3rd is gearing up for its exciting v8.1 update, "Drumming in New Resolutions," set to launch on February 20th. This update promises a slew of new content, including fresh battlesuits, stunning outfits, and generous anniversary rewards that players won't want to miss.

What's New in the Update?

Kiana returns to the fray with her new SD-type battlesuit, Ba-Dum! Fiery Wishing Star, designed to ignite the battlefield. Equipped with a long staff, she unleashes a 4-sequence attack that inflicts Fire DMG and accumulates Passion Marks, leading to powerful AOE damage. Her recommended weapon and PRI-ARM enhance her fiery abilities, ensuring enemies feel the heat. Meanwhile, Herrscher of Human: Ego is also receiving new gear, complete with a recommended Divine Key, PRI-ARM, and stigmata set to maximize her potential.

On the narrative front, the v8.1 update delves deeper into Leylah's story. Following the Spring Festival dream crisis in v8.0, Kiana returns to reality, joining forces with Rice Cake for a new mission from Theresa. This adventure takes them to the Moon Base for a festive celebration. Completing the interlude not only advances the storyline but also rewards players with Crystals, Source Prisms, and other valuable items.

Additionally, a fun board feature allows players to collect Yearly Chibis to strengthen their team and accumulate shop tokens, which can be exchanged for Crystals, Coralie's new outfit, and various rewards.

New Outfits and Anniversary Rewards

Beyond Kiana's new battlesuit, other characters are also getting fresh looks. Coralie, Luna, and Vita are set to dazzle with new outfits. Luna's outfit is available through spend bonuses, while Vita's can be obtained from Outfit Supply.

The anniversary celebration brings a bounty of rewards. Simply logging in daily for seven days after the update grants you a Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupon, an anniversary emblem, and more. Continue your login streak for another seven days, and you'll receive Kiana's Stigma Option, Herrscher of Human's new Stigma Option, and 10 Equipment Supply Cards. From February 25th to March 4th, daily logins will earn you an S-rank Battlesuit Option, Battlesuit Supply Cards, Crystals, and additional rewards. As a special thank-you, every player will receive five Battlesuit Supply Cards when the update goes live.
