Now, the wait is over as miHoYo (HoYoverse) introduces Varesa, a 5-star Electro character who wields a Catalyst in battle.

Iansan, a familiar face from the game's lore, describes Varesa as her most peculiar student, highlighting her easygoing and carefree nature. Varesa's adventurous spirit is evident as she constantly seeks out delicious treats and cozy spots to rest. However, her demeanor shifts dramatically in combat. Iansan warns, "But beware! If you ever fight Abyss monsters with her, the moment she gets into the zone, she turns into an unstoppable force!"

Joining Varesa in update 5.5 is Iansan herself, who transitions from an NPC to a playable 4-star Electro character wielding a Polearm. Iansan has been a significant figure in Natlan, known for her top-tier training skills. Varesa expresses her admiration, saying, "Iansan is Natlan’s top trainer and the person I admire the most! People say I’m talented, but without her training, that talent would have gone to waste. Don’t worry if you’re not used to working out—Coach Iansan knows how to train anyone!
