这项技术目前用于《少女前线2：流亡》。根据 Google Patents 的信息，Sunborn 团队获得的专利名为“丝袜物体渲染方法及装置”，它弥合了逼真渲染的丝袜和更卡通风格的丝袜之间的差距。通过这种方法，他们还改进了丝袜的动画物理效果。
Sunborn 的渲染方法实现了“真实丝袜的高光质感”，避免了常见的金属感或塑料感问题。他们列出了实现这一目标的多个步骤，包括使用特定代码、调整光线反射参数以及微调颜色过渡。通过这些努力，他们为《少女前线2》中的女性角色创造了更好看的丝袜。
12月8日，Cleista 在推特上发布的消息让许多《少女前线》粉丝感到高兴。他们称赞 Sunborn 的 CEO Yuzhong 和公司艺术家对细节的关注，以及他们致力于制作逼真丝袜的决心。然而，另一位用户提到：“我一直觉得这样的专利只会损害游戏行业。”尽管如此，大多数粉丝都对《少女前线2》中丝袜的改进感到兴奋，认为其效果比前作更好。
