The karma system plays a pivotal role in determining a character's fate after they pass away. Depending on their deeds, they might peacefully transition to the afterlife or become a ghost, doomed to wander among the living. For those who find themselves as ghosts, the journey to finally leave the mortal realm involves earning the necessary karma points to move on.
In the early access version of InZOI, players will encounter ghosts, but the ability to control them will be introduced in a later update. The developers have made it clear that InZOI is fundamentally a game about real life, and thus, paranormal elements will be kept subtle.
