inZOI Revealed System Requirements for the Game

RTX 2060 as Its Minimum Graphics Requirement

inZOI's developer, Krafton, has revealed that the game demands higher system specs for players to enjoy the best experience. On March 12, 2025, they posted the system requirements and optimal settings for inZOI on their website, categorizing them into four tiers: Minimum, Medium, Recommended, and High, along with the optimal settings for each tier.

At the minimum, the game requires an NVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX5600 for graphics and a CPU of Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5. This represents a significant increase compared to EA's Sims 4 PC requirements, which only need an NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or higher. Krafton explained, "inZOI delivers high-quality graphics and realistic city-level simulations, which necessitate higher system specifications to run smoothly."

For the recommended settings, the game requires an NVIDIA RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 for graphics and a CPU of Intel i7 or AMD Ryzen 7. The highest settings demand a graphics card like the NVIDIA RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900, coupled with a CPU such as the Intel i7 14700K or AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D.

This comes as no surprise, as the game's trailers showcase inZOI's push of Unreal Engine 5's capabilities. Although developers have mentioned on inZOI's official Discord their plans to bring the game to PS5 and Xbox, it appears that significant optimization will be required for console versions, given inZOI's demanding PC specifications.

Graphics Comparison by System Specs

Krafton has also provided a video comparing the graphics for each system spec tier they mentioned. In the video, differences between each category are evident in lighting, textures, color, and more, with the highest PC specs delivering the best visual experience.

Despite these options, the game may not immediately reach the wide player base enjoyed by rivals in the genre, like the Sims 4, due to the high entry-level specs required to run it. However, Krafton stated, "While these requirements ensure the best possible gameplay experience, we remain committed to making inZOI accessible to more players." They added, "We plan to implement a feature that automatically adjusts game settings to provide the best possible experience." Krafton also promised to "continue working on optimizations to improve performance while finding ways to lower system requirements without compromising overall quality."

inZOI will feature a live stream showcase on March 19, 2025, at 01:00 UTC on inZOI's official YouTube and Twitch channels. Players will get insights into the game's early access pricing, DLC, developmental roadmap, as well as additional information and answers to fan questions.
