TouchArcade's Weekly Update Roundup: Noteworthy Game Updates

Hello and welcome to another week of noteworthy game updates! This week's roundup includes a healthy dose of matching puzzle games (sorry, not sorry!), alongside some exciting releases and substantial updates. Let's dive in!

Peglin (Free): This week's coveted UMMSotW (Update Making Me Smile of the Week) award goes to Peglin! Version 1.0 introduces Cruciball challenges up to level 20, a new Slime Hive mini-boss battle, and a plethora of bug fixes, balance tweaks, and general improvements.

Brawl Stars (Free): Get ready for Brawl Stars time! SpongeBob SquarePants is joining the fray in a new event. Plus, expect the arrival of two new Brawlers – Moe (Mythic) and Kenji (Legendary) – and several new Hypercharges for existing characters. This content will roll out over the next few months.

stitch. (Premium): More Hoops await in the latest stitch. update! This update delivers additional puzzles with a martial arts-inspired theme (though the theme is secondary to the satisfying gameplay).

Genshin Impact (Free): Genshin Impact: Natlan Launch is here! Explore the new Natlan region, meet three new characters (Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina), acquire new weapons, and immerse yourself in fresh events, stories, and artifacts.

Temple Run: Puzzle Adventure (Apple Arcade): One hundred new levels have been added to this matching puzzle game spin-off, along with the usual tournament refresh.

Jetpack Joyride 2 (Apple Arcade): In this update, Barry Steakfries blasts off into space! (Let's just say it's a significant update, shall we?)

Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop: New character episodes for Sig, Carbuncle, and Rafisol are available in Adventure Mode, along with the addition of Meena as a playable character (episode to come later). Seven new music tracks are also in the shop.

Hearthstone (Free): Hearthstone's Battlegrounds Season 8, "Trinkets & Travels," has arrived, introducing new Trinkets to the Trinket Shop and replacing Buddies.

Toon Blast (Free): Fifty new levels await in a bee-themed (or possibly happiness-themed) episode.

Royal Match (Free): One hundred new levels and a new jousting arena have been added. (King Robert's fate remains… uncertain.)
