Switch 2 Will Be Sold By Lottery At The My Nintendo Store

Securing a Nintendo Switch 2 involves entering a lottery on the My Nintendo Store. Starting April 24, retailers and online shops across Japan will also offer reservations or lottery entries, subject to availability. To participate in the My Nintendo Store lottery, applicants must meet specific criteria:

• By February 28, 2025, you must have accumulated at least 50 hours of playtime on Nintendo Switch software, excluding demo and free software.
• At the time of application, you must have a continuous subscription to Nintendo Switch Online for at least one year and remain an active subscriber.
