2025 is shaping up to be a fantastic year for gaming, with Monster Hunter Wilds poised to launch in Q1. Before the official release, you'll have a chance to experience the game firsthand during the second open beta. Here's everything you need to know:
Monster Hunter Wilds Second Open Beta: A Deep Dive
Dates and Platforms
The Monster Hunter Wilds second open beta will run in two phases:
- Phase 1: February 6th, 7:00 PM PT – February 9th, 6:59 PM PT
- Phase 2: February 13th, 7:00 PM PT – February 16th, 6:59 PM PT
That's a generous eight days of gameplay across both phases, giving you ample time to explore what Monster Hunter Wilds has to offer. The beta will be available on PS5, Xbox, and PC (via Steam).
How to Participate
This is an open beta, meaning no pre-registration or sign-up is required! Simply search for "Monster Hunter Wilds" on your platform's digital storefront (PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, or Steam) closer to the start dates to download the beta.
What's New?
The highlight of this second open beta is the addition of the Gypceros hunt. All content from previous betas will also be available.
