The news was shared by Adam Fogelson, the chair of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, during a presentation at CinemaCon. The 60-year-old Keanu Reeves is confirmed to reprise his iconic role as the titular character, with the project seeing the return of Thunder Road producers Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee, alongside franchise director and producer Chad Stahelski. Although a release date has not yet been disclosed, anticipation is already building.

The decision to move forward with another installment comes as no surprise, considering the massive success of John Wick: Chapter 4, which grossed over $440 million globally. Each film in the series has managed to surpass its predecessor at the box office, a rare achievement in the film industry.
