Dive into the thrilling world of The First Berserker: Khazan as its latest gameplay trailer unveils intense boss battles and hints at an intriguing awakened form for Khazan. Let's explore the showcased boss fights and delve into the potential mechanics of this mysterious new form.
The First Berserker: Khazan's New Trailer Highlights Different Boss Fights
New Gameplay Trailer Showcases Umbrella-Wielding Boss

During the IGN Fan Fest on February 27, 2025, South Korean developer Neople treated fans to an exciting new gameplay trailer for The First Berserker: Khazan. This trailer offered a glimpse into the diverse boss encounters players will face, featuring an umbrella-wielding boss alongside two other formidable beasts.
The umbrella-wielding boss, showcased in a brief cutscene, hints at its significance within the game's main storyline. Although the HUD was not visible during the battle sequence, leaving details about this boss under wraps, the trailer also introduced two other bosses: Shactuka, a wolf-like beast, and the Specter of Bhangau, a ram-like beast wielding a hammer and spike. These encounters promise to challenge players with their unique designs and combat mechanics.
Possible Awakened Form

A highlight of the trailer was Khazan's transformation into what appears to be an Awakened form. Departing from his usual samurai-like appearance, Khazan dons full body armor with a striking red glow, unleashing a variety of new attacks with different weapons. This form not only enhances his combat capabilities but also increases his speed, allowing for swift and powerful combos.
The trailer showcased Khazan's combat mechanics, including blocking enemy projectiles, parrying, and executing fast-paced combos. However, the effectiveness of his attacks against the bosses seemed limited, suggesting the game's challenging Souls-like elements. While Neople has not yet officially confirmed details about this awakened form, it's evident that it will play a crucial role in dealing significant damage and executing complex combos with varied weaponry.
For those eager to experience The First Berserker: Khazan, a free demo is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, offering a taste of the game's first two missions. The full release is slated for March 27, 2025, on these platforms.
