Marvel Rivals developers know about fps pay-to-win bug, fix incoming
Marvel Rivals's Steam launch was incredibly successful, boasting hundreds of thousands of concurrent players, even as Overwatch 2 suffered a significant downturn. However, a frustrating bug is impacting the experience.
We previously reported on a performance issue affecting low-end PCs: reduced frame rates lead to slower hero movement and decreased damage output. The developers have acknowledged the bug and are actively working on a solution.

Unfortunately, a complete fix won't be immediate. Season 1 will see a temporary patch focusing on improved movement mechanics. Resolving the damage reduction issue will take longer, with no firm timeline currently available.
Therefore, our recommendation remains: prioritize maximum frame rate over graphics quality in Marvel Rivals to avoid gameplay disadvantages.
